All WORK & NO PLAY makes me a dull girl!

I've lived all my life trying to get good grades. If you asked the 10-year-old me about hobbies I would've replied with "I love drawing" because we had that as a part of the curriculum. While other kids were involved in dancing, singing, and playing instruments during summer vacations, I was at home watching cartoons (My favorite being Doraemon- a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujiko F. Fujio, what's yours?) or memorizing multiplication tables.
Growing up I related a lot with- "ALL WORK NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY", a quote that everyone remembers but fails to live by.
Hence, I took up opportunities where I could sing (Music is what keeps me going ), and showcase my speaking abilities (I'm still working on it, haha). I wrote articles on topics ranging from Elon Musk and Quantum computing as an engineering student, I even tried my hand at Fashion modeling for local boutique's look books & collections!
Being a professional freelance graphic designer/ illustrator (8 years and continuing) & now also a comic artist (killer DC fan who sometimes enjoys sliding into a good Marvel Tee) is something that I cherish and enjoy the most. I've sold my artworks & Merchandise across the globe (yes, developed countries- the PEBMEs as my Strategy Professor calls them) & designed logos, brand elements, and packaging for many small firms including a Biryani outlet (they loved the banners so much so that I was offered free biryani for whenever I visited them, yes!)
I'm an auto-didact. Before you google it, here's what it means:
Auto-didact (noun) - a self-taught person.

Social media fascinates me to a great extent. I'm also a content creator (a budding influencer) on Instagram & now on LinkedIn (just started my newsletter after multiple ayes & noes).
In a nutshell, don't put yourself in a box. Try your hand at everything you wish to.
Life is too short to be hung up only on grades & chasing academic achievements! Make use of the Internet (what a life-changing invention, really), learn a new skill, and step into a world full of endless possibilities!
Fill up the Hobbies section of your CV with something that really excites you when you talk about them in your interviews!
