All That We Share: A Moving Video
After taking a post-election break from all forms of media, I was finally ready to get going again. Then, my computer had a meltdown. Aargh!
I wanted to share the video below. After a brutal election season, its message is more important now than ever.
We’re More Alike Than We Think
Six years ago, I was on my first date—in decades. I was a nervous wreck. We met at the movie theater. After watching The Last Jedi, we went out for a bite to eat. As we talked, my mind raced as I tried to ascertain his values, family relationships, aspirations, and more.
But all that came to a screeching halt when he asked if I’d seen the All That We Share video by TV2 in Denmark. When I said no, he told me all about it and how much it moved him.
When I saw it a short while later, I found out why. Check it out. It’s just three minutes long.
When I watched it again the other day, I reacted the same way. It brought me to tears. We can’t let politicians and the media divide us.
We can come together to solve the challenges facing our communities, countries and world. So let’s get going!
P.S. I ended up marrying that guy a few years later.
What a beautiful reminder that we are flowers in the same garden

1 周Thanks Jill. As a human race we are far to quick to judge others we think are different to ourselves.
