All We Need is Job!

All We Need is Job!

Well, who doesn't?

We all are going through hard times, and most of us got fired from the company and ended up being unemployed. It might seem unfair to us but companies do have their hard times. It's not just you that got jobless, but also, hundreds of organizations got dissolved due to financial losses.

With an urgency of getting a job, after all these months during the pandemic, it's time to have some reminders.

Be patient. Searching for a job could take months and so, require patience. You need to create strategies, based on your current state, knowledge, skills, and experience. Creating strategies, especially on LinkedIn, and implementing it, takes time. It's not just about creating a network.

"Good things come to those who wait."

Enhance your skills. If you are spending your whole day, searching for a job, you are doing it all wrong. Consider managing time to enhance and learn new skills that are required currently for the job you are applying for. The consistency of learning develops you to retain skills, plus, it also requires fewer efforts from the organization to spend less on you on training further, if you've acquired skills the job requires.

Work on freelance projects. Another way to enhance your skills is by working on projects. You can go for Upwork, Fiverr, or any other freelance platform for projects and polish your skills.

Manage your budget. If you want your resume to be prepared for the job application, don't follow your desires, manage your budget. If you can't afford a professional resume writer for your resume and cover letter, don't bargain for the price. Instead, try to make your resume by yourself. Although it might look simple like PB&J, all that recruiter wants to see is whether you fulfill all the requirements and are capable of doing all of your duties. Manage your budget, based on what's important and what's not.

Dress decently for your job interview. Be presentable and professional. Make sure you feel comfortable in your suit and it's not too tight to reveal your body.

Stay positive. It's not to worry about getting rejected for a job offer. Opportunities come and go.

So, to be precise, try to focus on your outcome, depending on what resources you've been provided with and how much time you have, now.
