?? Happy International Women's Day! ??
In the spirit of International Women's Day, I wanted to share a glimpse into our journey as women, coaches, and leaders. Sports, beyond the victories, can offer a an amazing opportunity to create communities and enact transformational change. Recently, Coach Dawn Staley's heartwarming gesture, providing a player the chance to reunite with family, highlighted the essence of what sports truly represents, and, how women do what WE do ;-).
It reminded me that when we use our platform for service and community-building, we redefine the game.

Redefining the Game: ??
As a woman and coach, every move is an opportunity for me to empower another young lady. Just as Coach Staley's actions resonated, each of our coaching journeys is about creating a supportive space where every young lady feels valued, heard, and inspired to reach new heights. How? Serving every part of them.
Service isn't just a word; it's our commitment. Our profession extends beyond the court, aiming to create a community where collective strength and support converge with vulnerability and sacrifice.
Coach Staley's act reflects the redefine. A moment that we can all aspire to create in our way.
But how?
it seems so difficult at times.

You may not have the budget Coach Staley has.
You may not be in the SEC.
However, there's Three questions we can ask ourselves:
In the game of life, we're not just scoring goals; we're changing the game.
Here's to empowerment, community, and redefining the rules together.
