All Transformation is dependent on Change but not all Change is about Transformation
It was a fantastic experience for the Designs In Change (DICe) team to host our first Transformation Dialogues event on Feb 1st. I'm very grateful to all the folks at DICe, our sponsors, partners, clients & panelists who made it possible.
It seems like the essence of any transformation is about shifting your identity.
A personal transformation is about shifting the story you tell your self about yourself, which shifts the way you see and interact with the world. For an organization it manifests as a shift in the business/operating model, a shift in values/purpose i.e. who they are and their place in the world.
While a shift in identity is the result of a successful transformation it often starts with not so grandiose change initiatives that start at the periphery and informs the landscape of the shift in identity
