Today we take a look at The Geordies from Newcastle United, they have had excititing attacking teams in the past with some flair players.
). Shay Given (Goalkeeper) Republic Of Ireland international, only a small man, especially for a Gk, but made great saves and was very solid and reliable.
). Steven Carr (Right Back) Republic Of Ireland international, always gave his best, solid servent anywhere he played, defended well and got forward.
). Stuart Pearce (Left Back) England international, inspirational leader both on and off the pitch, whole hearted performer, great tackler and created chances.
). Terry McDermott (Midfield) England international, a very under rated player, could pass the ball any distance perfectly, could score beautiful goals.
). Jonathan Woodgate (Centre Back) England international, one of the most naturally gifted defenders of recent years.
). Sol Campbell (Centre Back) England international, very strong and solid defender, good in the air and on the ground.

). Damian Duff (Right Wing) Republic Of Ireland international, a magnificent dribbler, his close control at speed was second to none, clever and inventive.
). Paul Gascoigne (Midfield) England international, had all the skills, played for fun, had his share of injuries and off field issues.
). Peter Beardsley (Striker) England international, a box of tricks, he could create no end of problems for the best defenders and score 20 goals per season.
). Alan Shearer (Striker) England international, Newcastle's all time leading scorer, no longer England's and very shortly to lose his EPL record too.
). Kevin Keegan (Midfield) England international, worked so hard at his game, not a natural footballer but went on to win every trophy at Liverpool, play in Germany, become European Player Of The Year, captain and manage his country.
Kevin Keegan / Sir Bobby Robson (Manager / Coach) Either of these 2 men deserve to get the top job.
