Happy Monday everyone,
#Rechie2Techie will be all about the world of recruitment blended with the ocean that is technology. Your place for industry insight, snippets of knowledge and hopefully some ideas to take away.
February was a quick and short month, or was it? Felt slightly longer than other February's..
Lots more followers and subscribers in Feb which is awesome!
So a little recap, on me and what I do.
Working for KDR Talent Solutions I most often work with senior data leads on all things behind the scenes or processes leading up to role/s going live. All part of #priortothepresent and I've even called it Team or Role Architecture. Like what does that even mean I hear you say? EVP, EDI, interview process, talent pooling, salary benchmarking things like this all to help you attract the best talent ahead of when you need it.
All starts with a Talent Assessment, Audit, MOT whichever phrase suits. DM me to get yours done. 7 key talent areas cross examined with a bespoke report following showing recommendations.
Of course I help clients with one off hires or small group hires.. And its across the MS environment too. Candidates, I work with you to carve out the right opportunities and highlight where they are and with who.
Off the back of the above we've kicked off a project with a global insurance company building out their data team. If you're in the below domains and looking for a new role link here -https://www.dhirubhai.net/company/kdrtalent/jobs/
Data - Architecture, Engineering, Data Viz, Analysis, Governance, Product..
In other news.
Me and my mate James Connelly will be doing our chat this month instead. This is where I sit with a Power Platform lead and discuss, very informally, how the platform is being used and the impact it has, amongst other topics!

I don't know about you but the job market, maybe from a PP angle seems buoyant, people are hiring, jobs being released and talent people being hired which is an indication into things beginning to move forward.
Budget coming up this week, what are you expecting? National Insurance drop to stimulate hiring, stamp duty removed or reduced to get the housing market going and maybe a general tax drop so people have more money to spend. All of the above please?
Unofficial mentoring programme still going strong too with another mid level matched to a practice lead..
Nice little note recently received..
Charlie! Your advice is doing me wonders. Got two interview offers today alone.
You're the ??. Now it's all on me to actually secure a role next. Thank you so much!
Last month of the quarter and spring is just ahead. So stay upbeat! Nice weather coming and shorts for me making a return when the clocks go forward, or back never know!
Thanks as always for reading this..
If you fancy chatting through anything PP, talent or data related call in or email and we'll get something booked in. Or good old LinkedIn approach.. DMs open!

1 年Great read as always Charlie W. White! It'll be interesting to see how the effects of the National Insurance cuts translate to the job market; with whispers of further cuts to National Insurance in the spring budget, I'll be keeping an eye on market trends ??
