I am excited to announce that I will be returning to the automotive dealership software space next week, after completing a five year non-compete clause.

?Five years is a lifetime in software…

As a founder of Dashboard Dealership Enterprises, I have always been passionate about using data and technology to drive insights and improvements in the automotive dealership industry. After successfully selling Dashboard to CDK Global in 2017, I took the opportunity to explore other endeavors and focus on my personal goals. However, my passion for this industry has never wavered, and I am now excited to bring my experience and expertise back to the automotive dealership software space.

?Ultimately, I consider myself a technology advocate for Dealers…

?When we founded Dashboard, we were one of the first companies to focus on Big Data & Analytics, and it was not widely adopted by dealers at the time. However, we remained dedicated to this focus, and it eventually led to great success for our company.?By leveraging data and analytics, we were able to provide dealerships with valuable insights into their operations, helping them make more informed decisions and improve their performance. As a result, Dashboard became a leading provider of analytics and reporting tools for the automotive dealership industry.

?Looking back, I am proud of the work we did at Dashboard and the impact we had on the industry. I am now excited to bring our experience and expertise back to the automotive dealership software space and continue to drive progress and innovation in this for Dealers.

As I return to this space, I want to focus on a few key areas that I believe will be critical to the success of automotive software companies in the coming years.

  1. Remote Workforces:

  • With the COVID-19 pandemic changing the way we work, the ability to effectively manage and support remote teams has become more important than ever. I am committed to helping automotive software companies navigate this shift and find ways to support and empower their remote employees.

2.???????Predictive AI for Operations and Analytics:

  • AI and predictive analytics have the potential to revolutionize the way automotive software companies operate. I am excited to explore new ways to use these technologies to optimize operations and make better informed decisions.

Blockchain and Digital Identities for Vehicle Titles:

  • By leveraging blockchain and digital identities, we can create a faster, more efficient, and more secure vehicle titling process. This can reduce costs, eliminate fraud, and improve customer satisfaction.

Gamification for Operational Employees:

  • Gamification can be a powerful tool for motivating and engaging operational employees, such as salespersons, service advisors, and technicians. I am committed to finding new ways to use gamification as a retention tool to help automotive software companies retain top talent and improve performance.

Compliance with GLBA Safeguard Rule:

  • Ensuring compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) safeguard rule is critical for automotive software companies. I am committed to helping these companies use technology to protect the privacy and security of customer data and meet their compliance obligations.

As we move forward, I am excited to continue exploring these focus areas and finding new ways to drive progress and innovation in the automotive software industry. While the technologies and tools we use may change over time, our focus on these key areas will remain constant, and I believe that this will help us achieve even greater success in the future.
