ALL IT TAKES IS ONE SKEPTICAL MEMBER AND SOON ALL THOSE WITH WEAKER FAITH OR NO FAITH AT ALL, WILL START CHIMING IN AND PERPETUATING NEGATIVITY!

The passage, “If you love someone, you will…always believe in him” (1 Corinthians 13:7), reminds us that, Eliab, David’s older brother who doubted his ability at a time when nobody else in Saul’s army, including Generals, was not willing to take on Goliath that, even though his name means, ‘God is my Father’, he also represented secular cynics and Christian ones too, many of whom we happen to have with us in the Church today. In other words, all it takes is one skeptical member and soon all those with weaker faith or no faith at all, will start chiming in and perpetuating negativity. So let the knowledge that: 1) There are very few monuments erected to sceptics because, instead of building people up, they tear them down; 2) Cynicism can wreak havoc in any relationship and environment; and 3) The Bible says, ‘Blessed is the man who does not sit in the seat of the scornful’; teach you, because if you stay too long, you may never be able to get up ever again, to think twice before sitting down amongst skeptics!FG. www.fgtalks.com
