"ALL SYSTEMS ARE GO" FOR THE 14th PRESIDENTS DINNER of the FDA of the CIM GROUP.......

I am really looking forward to this event on Thursday night in London:

• We have 76 guests attending from across the agri food supply chain and from all corners of the UK, Ireland, New Zealand and Holland
• We have Terry Jones, the Director General of the NFU as our Guest Speaker

•  We have a great and highly supportive sponsor in Kleffmann, the leading agri market research company in the world
• Lord Lexden is our host – again  - for which we are very grateful
• We have a really good winner of our Excellence in Marketing Award following on from the likes of Pink Lady? apples, Alpro, Dorset Cereals, the Happy Egg Company, Green & Blacks, Taylors of Harrogate, Samworths, Berry Gardens, the English Wine Company, the Fair Trade Foundation and Long Clawson Dairy
• The food and drink looks great.

This event has always been a highly enjoyable evening both professionally and socially - and this year should be no different. This is the 14th year we have done this event and I have a feeling it will be one of the best.

This is a Group to be proud of not just for this event but the range of other activities we run across the year.

Its a real team effort to organise this, but special thanks to Roger Pratchett, David Desbrow, Michelle Evans and Mark Dodds for all their input. 

And if you didn’t get a ticket this year - you have probably “missed out” on a great event - be quicker off the mark next year, eh ?

I look forward to seeing our FDA of the CIM colleagues, guests, Terry, Karen Gralla from Kleffmann and other colleagues from the CIM at Moor Hall on the night - oh, and my two elder sisters, who are coming to see their “little brother” talk at the House of Lords.
