M PERFORMANCE TWINPOWER TURBO DIESEL ENGINE.

The M Performance TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder diesel engine in the BMW X6 M50d inspires with its combination of pronounced dynamics and astonishing efficiency.

Among the features making this possible is the three-stage turbocharging with variable turbine geometry. The highly developed engine responds with extreme spontaneity. At the same time, the combined fuel consumption* is 6.6 litres per 100 km and average CO2 emissions are 174 g/km.

Features in the equipment package include Dynamic Damping Control and air suspension for the rear axle, with a setup tuned for a particularly sporty driving response. Equipped with the Adaptive Suspension Package Dynamic, the BMW X6 M50d achieves a maximum level of agility, precision and lateral dynamics. Model-specific Dynamic Performance Control and Dynamic Drive guarantee even more neutral steering and reduce body side tilt on bends.

The BMW X6 M50d has the intelligent all-wheel drive system BMW xDrive with Performance Control as standard, thus achieving a unique level of dynamics, agility and traction. 8-SPEED STEPTRONIC SPORT TRANSMISSION.

Transferring the power in the BMW X6 M50d is an 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission supplied as a standard feature.

The specific M Performance tuning of the shift programmes is specially adapted to the particular performance potential of the engine. Shift paddles on the steering wheel allow gear changing in sporty style. The transmission also features a Launch Control, ensuring optimum acceleration under all conditions.
