All about #Relationships

Relationships come in life in many forms, starting from parents ????????

elder brother/sister ???????????and 

our relatives ?????????????????????????????????????????????????.

Then we build relationships with toys, dolls, teddy bears, cycles, toy trains, cartoons, chocolates, hot wheels, ice-creams, candies. I feel these are the most beautiful relations in our own small world. Why so?

?? Everything is new. 

?? Everything is fascinating.

?? No expectations from anyone, we don't even know what we can expect. (Ignorance is bliss) ??

?? Nobody else expect anything from us so, they are also happy with us and love us a lot. 

?? Nobody doubts our intentions for committing a mistake and everybody forgives us. (Ohhh, he/she is just a child).

?? we are special to our elders, prince??/princess ??of family.

We start growing in school and meet a bunch of strangers who we later call as our friends, best friends, buddy, brother or sister from another mother and list of names to this strange relationship is infinite. 

 And sometimes, we call it as our extended family. 

Till the college time we spend more time with these strangers than our families (may not be true for everyone but for most of the people it is the truth) ??

Once we choose our career we meet new strangers and we do miss older ones for sometime with a few of them still connected, we move on to replace old strangers with the new ones and again name them as friend, best friend, buddy, brother/sister from another mother, colleagues, business partner, boss, subordinate, clients, mentor, and the list goes on and on and on...

But, these adulthood relationships are loaded with expectations, conditions, doubt in intentions (I just met him/her a few days back, how can I trust?),

choice (we can choose who is going to be our friend).

Good friend, 

Bad friend, 

He/She is good for nothing (no expectations), 

He/She is just amazing (expectations are even higher in this case).

And the most amazing -

Non-trust worthy friend, (maybe he/she is not able to fulfill our expectations, we expected too much),

Trusty worthy friend, (maybe we expected less and he/she fulfilled it).

This strange relationship dies easily because of all this load, it's too heavy for a relationship to bear this load where there are no boundaries. 

And, it's easy to get rid of these relations in case of any misunderstanding, we move on saying, “I don't care, I have a lot of friends”.

What happens when similar things happen in our families?

We still stay with them,

We still bear them the way they are,

We try hard to patch up with them in case of any misunderstanding,

We try our best to make things all right and again stay happily with them.

Why can't we do the same with our friends, colleagues, partners, bosses??

Because we don't get their importance in our life. We see them just as a colleague (A person at a senior/junior position working for the same company). If I join another company there will be another set of people like this. 

How about taking a pause in life and thinking about what all values these strangers have added in our lives for whatever time they spent with us?

Did they helped us expand our knowledge, fun, relationship circle, our known world?

Was there someone who didn't help us and make us stronger/better to take on the challenge ourselves?

- Good friend or bad friend?

Was there some innocent friend who did our work himself and we could not learn anything?

- Good friend or bad friend?

You might have thought a lot till now on what you have just read. Now, let's see these relations with a new perspective.

How about forgetting all the names that we have given to our relations and considering a relationship as a relationship?

So,

Instead of saying he/she is my brother/sister we will say he/she is a relationship.

Instead of saying he/she is my boss, we will say he/she is a relationship.

I hope you have got the idea now.

Doesn't it look like the childhood relationships?

We didn't know the names of our relationships and each and every relationship was full of love, care, fun, respect, free from loads that we counted above in this article.

So,

Beauty of a relationship = Trust + respect + care + unconditional love. 

I have my unconditional relationship with mathematics that’s why defined relationship as a mathematical equation. ??(Ha ha)
