Not All Photography Mistakes Are Mistakes

Not All Photography Mistakes Are Mistakes

Spending a lot of time on the internet studying photography, I'm so sure you will have come across a wide variety of rules photographers should follow and mistakes they should avoid making. However, what constitutes a mistake is not always a mistake at all times. As a photographer, it is important to consider that factor and note it before you lose your identity as an artist.?

We’re going to discuss the importance of perspective when it comes to mistakes in photography as well as excellent points about intention and accomplishment when it comes to creative choices and techniques. There are certainly a lot of ideas and "rules" out there about how to do things, what makes a good photo, and so on; but like any other artistic pursuit, if you have solid technique and understanding, know what you want to make and you accomplish that, you have succeeded as an artist. That is something particularly worth remembering in today's world, where you can get on social media and get sucked into following trends instead of exploring your own unique creative voice.?

Bear in mind the following element to guide you through your when using the camera.

  1. INTENTION:

What are you trying to achieve? Your intention really matters whenever you want to shoot. You have a vision. It’s yours and you’re the only one that can see it and do justice to it. Bearing this in mind, it is possible that your vision might not follow through with the basic rules and regulations of photography. This is a case that can’t be regarded as a mistake.

2. CREATIVITY:

This is a very strong element that can never be seen as a mistake, feel free to express yourself and showcase your mind. A camera is just a device. What controls it and gives results is your creativity. So let nothing hinders that process for you.

3. TALENT:

One of the poisons that are killing a good number of photographers today are the rules and regulations they follow or should I say instructions that they are bent to follow at all times. These rules shallow their talent and creativity, which is why on the street of most social platforms today, you see most photographers doing almost the same thing which shouldn't be so because not everyone can have the same talent.?

My advice to you is this - find your talent, build on it, showcase your creativity, and let your work speak for itself.

With all these in mind, be assured to shoot mind-blowing pictures that speak for you and differentiate you from the crowd, and become your identity.
