All OUT or All IN
We are always stuck in between the roller coaster of thoughts!
Don’t know the path we are about to take. Not to know what’s in our closet. We always fall short of clothes even though we stand in front of a pile with tags hanging around their collars. It’s as if we got ready for a trail tracking with our sneakers on and get stuck and contemplate whether to open the door or just be the other side of it.
Trails, Trails and more Trails. We always compensate when it comes to us. But we never hesitate to pull the trigger of wisdom for someone. It always remains a mystery where that wisdom goes when we need it the most. It’s as if it gets vanished in to thin air and returns only when needed by others but not us. The question remains unanswered. No matter how many times you try to get an answer, the curser always indicated towards ‘None of the Above’ and we will be simply standing there trying to understand when did it even turn into a multiple choice?!What could be the other options be? or are there any options to start with?
Some say a question can’t be answered by another. One must try and find the clues to get the answers no matter how hard it is. It’s just like how we try and clear a hard level in a game. How we keep trying until we clear those obstacles thrown at us. It’s the same while we look for certain answers. But again, the question remains the same. Are we satisfied by the answers that we get while quenching for them? or do we need to look until we want to hear what we are really looking for? Again, that damn ‘TRAIL’.
“Keep Breathing. Everything gets settled with time.” This is the most over rated sentence that we keep listening to while growing up and even now if you ask me. Breathing is just a normal process that happens even when we are not focused. For example, the sighs and signs that come out of us depending on the situations and the people around us. It’s quite stunning to know that each sigh of ours has so many different expressions and altogether a whole different vibe. Some gets irritated by it and others react in a different way. Exactly which type are we supposed to focus on? No one knows. No one bothers to ask why that ‘sigh’ actually came out of us.
What drives us to go ALL IN or ALL OUT:
People? Time? Situation? Reaction? Emotion?

See, again we are searching for an answer… There can be many reasons for our drive. Some time it can be motivational or simply it can be our impulse. Whatever it might be, if it is making us sit on some task which is making us to find what we are seeking, isn’t it good enough to be ALL IN? But why do we want to GET OUT as soon as we enter the situation, if we feel like it doesn’t go our way? why are we afraid to take a different path than a regular one? Of course, many of the times we get pulled back by various curious characters around us to explore. They try and create many voids and riddles for you to clear just to be on the path that you always wanted to take. It’s as simple as entering into a ‘Maze’ and trying to find the way out. In this process some scream their guts out. Some stay calm and observe their surroundings and pick a path. Your way out of that maze entirely depends on the path and most importantly the decision that you make to take that direction.
When you are on that route, some may follow you blindly thinking that maybe this is their way out too. Some curse at you for choosing it. You never know until you start taking those small, cautious and most importantly curious steps towards the end of that maze.
Even though it’s an old interview of Trevor Noah, but his words got etched so deep inside me that it actually made me think isn’t it exactly the same thing that we are doing on our daily basis. In one his interviews he used a term of Horcruxes being placed when ever we meet a person and move forward. Just like how Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter has placed his Horcruxes including Potter, just like that we are also placing ourselves not entirely but a part of us on others, and its vice versa. As if we are on the urge of collecting Pokémon Cards or Puzzle pieces. While we are leaving a certain piece of us to the other and start collecting one from the other too. By the end of the day, we are returning to our homes half empty and trying to find those missing pieces. We are basically putting ourselves in the quest to find those. Some are giving their ALL IN while others are being ALL OUT.
But here lies the question again!! What if we remain half empty and can’t find those missing pieces? What if someone finds us ugly for being this aloof and let others grab a piece from us? What am I suppose to do now to find the remaining? Where to begin? Where to end? The train goes on and on and onnnnn…
Why can’t we take a pause and reflect on what’s remaining on us? Breathe for a minute and look at the mirror and think even though I am half empty, I look beautiful the way I am right now! Think for a while and stay with the thought, I hope the piece that has been grabbed from me put into good use! Imagine being that missing piece completing someone else’s long-lost puzzle!
There is no way out to be ALL IN or ALL OUT. But its just like a roundabout door to enter your thoughts and stay with them for a while and take the same round to come out, instead of PUSH & PULL.
