When thinking of perfection, at the top of one's mind would be 'zero errors', 'zero delays', 'highest grades', 'flawless beauty'.
The quest for 'perfection' is a double-edged sword. When pursued with a positive connotation, perfection translates into passion, gets one rolling to put in their best efforts and move towards excellence. On the contrary, when perfection becomes habit and one starts rejecting anything but perfect, such a tendency leads to frustration and gets into the way of continuous improvement.
Few checkpoints to test the trap of perfection -
At one point or the other it's not uncommon to fall under this trap, when one starts believing perfection is the only outcome. If you are in such place, time to take a pause, think about the law of averages and get rid of "All or nothing" approach to accept "Something is better than nothing". With something or anything, you are at least one step closer to everything.
