The All new ThinkPad X1 series laptops
Few days ago, Lenovo officially launched ThinkPad X1 Nano and ThinkPad X1 Fold.
ThinkPad X1 Nano specs:
- CPU: Up to 11th-Gen Intel Core i7 CPUs
- Graphics: Intel Iris X
- Memory: Up to 16GB (soldered)
- Storage: Up to 1TB PCIe SSD
- I/O Ports: 2x Thunderbolt 4
- Weight: Starts at 0.9 kg / 1.99 lbs
Starting price for the ThinkPad X1 Nano is $1399 which can be ordered lately this quarter.
The only downside I have noticed is RAM that is soldered and tops out at 16GB. Fairly, in 3-5 years period it won't be enough for business purposes.
As for ThinkPad X1 Fold, it is World's first foldable PC, on board it has Intel Core processors with Intel Hybrid Technology and 13" 2K display.
Starting price for the ThinkPad X1 Fold is $2499 which can be pre-ordered on Lenovo US website.
I wonder why official launch presentation has not been covered by most of hi-tech medias in comparison with Apple or Samsung launches.
What would you prefer Nano or Fold versions of X1?

As for me, I would prefer Nano because I have been using ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 6 for a year. Honestly, it is awesome business laptop, especially after X1 Carbon Gen 3.
