Hyundai’s all new Kona is bigger and bolder, it will be a great car for fleets that rate - safety, fuel economy and price. Making it a real contented in the medium SUV segment of the Australian market. Offering versatility with a rear seat folding feature, providing interior space of 1,241 litres for those fleets that are required to carry product.
I had the opportunity to drive the petrol 2.0l model for a week. Hyundai have packed the Kona with lots of technology – wireless charging (which is a blessing for me, remembering chargers for the car isn’t a strong point)! With apple car play which linked as soon as I got into the vehicle, every time.
The smart sense safety innovations make this car so easy to park with the cameras and sensors – with clear views of the vehicles in the peripheral. I didn’t download the bluelink APP this time around, go and check out the features of this if you are interested.
Further features include -, adaptive cruise control, lane keep, speed monitoring and eye function, making this value for money.
I particularly like the styling of the wheels and the plastic fenders – which will most likely be cheaper to replace if the vehicle is involved in an incident (hopefully not).
I would suggest for fleets looking for new SUVs to book an evaluation vehicle to share around your employees, it’s great value for money, the manufacturer list price starts at $32,000.
