Do you spend most of your time worrying about what people think about you?
In today’s blog post I am going to talk about why we should stop worrying about people’s opinions.?
Let us first understand that it’s human nature to judge. We all have opinions. Of course, we can try to tell everyone “Don’t judge me”. But ask yourself does it really matter? Will it work at all? Everyone has their own opinions. Everyone judges at some point or the other.?
But I would say it’s not worth thinking about who judges more, who judges less. Honestly it’s a “Moo Point”.
Instead of trying to change others, we have to think about what we can do.?
As humans we all want to be liked to feel like a part of the community, to feel like belonging to a tribe.?
People-pleasing, this is a danger zone. We have to realize that one cannot please everyone. Its practically impossible. No matter how good of a person you are, people are going to kind of tell you “you are not enough”.?
Let me tell you, why is not important to not care other’s opinions:
1. No one’s crazy
In the book ‘Psychology of Money’, Morgan Housel talks about how people do crazy stuff with money in the first chapter of the book (No One’s Crazy). He says, people do crazy stuff with money, but no one is crazy; they do what they do based on their life’s experiences; what seems crazy to one person might seem crazy to some other person.?
We make decisions based on what we have experienced. Nobody knows your life better than you. The person who has had completely different experiences than you, cannot make right decisions for you.

2. It’s your responsibility
Well, let us be honest. Sometimes our decisions can go wrong. But at least we have the chance to learn from our mistakes. In the future when a similar situation arises, we now know how to make better decisions.?
When you are to accept others' opinions and decisions, you are most likely to blame them when it goes wrong. You might not take responsibility for your actions and will not get a chance to learn.?
3. You face the consequences
You are going to face the consequences finally. Period. End of story.?
Let it be your decision. Do not be influenced by others' opinions. Coz come one, it's you who is going to go through the results.?
4. Thoughts change
As we come across new experiences, our thoughts and opinions change. Thoughts are not constant. But the effects of a decision in our life are huge. A single decision can change your entire course of life.?
So instead of focusing on the temporary thoughts of others, focus on the end results of the decision you’ll be making.?
Conclusion
There are tons of reasons to stop caring what other people think of you, but I would like to keep the blog post short to read. But you get my point: Nobody knows your life, so stop caring about others' opinions. As Joey said: This is all a Moo Point. It's like a Cow's Opinion. It just doesn't matter. It's Moo!
