It is all in the mind

"It is all in the mind" I am not that well-experienced but with the little experience I have in what's called "commercial marketing" I can safely tell you that most of what is purchased, most of what we consume is just our perception of the thing's value, even at the level of "money for value" type of consumers.

It is your behavior, your habits, your beliefs, and what you think you lack to get your self-worth these are the real growth drivers of the many if not most brands, relying on the actual benefit of the brand or product is an old concept, now you buy how people want to perceive you, you purchase the societal level you strive to be in, you buy the feeling you think you lack in your life and yourself.

Think about 可口可乐公司 , 百事 , 麦当劳 , and STARBUXS LIMITED , brands selling you literally the feeling they tell you you need, whether happiness, togetherness, or belonging, think about how -as mentioned in the video below- that Coca-Cola has managed to get you to buy basically an annihilated product, the decaf zero sugar Coke, giving you only the feeling of happiness that they claim you get when you consume the beverage, same goes for Pepsi and Starbuck.

I've always hated food brands, and luxurious brands mostly because being aware of the manipulation they use to evoke unnecessary desires which need to be controlled, and another reason is how these brands get their values from the perception they plant into the consumer's mind, giving them the feeling of self-worth when the brand's products are bought, let us take any designer's brand as an example, Versace , in reality, they do not sell you bags, or perfumes, they are selling you the worth of the brand's name and the self-image and self-actualization you get when buying the product.

At that point, the money you pay is not for the product benefits, but rather is paid for the worth of the brand will give you relative to you, and here I wonder, if I assign no value to Prada Group if I don't know the brand and it holds no worth for me, will I be sold a bag with paying a normal cost of a regular bag, because ultimately I will only be looking for the basic benefits a bag and wouldn't care of its designer brand, and so I won't be seeing any value of the brand's name to pay for it.

We have come to live in a time where our thoughts, behaviors, and decisions are mined like gold and precious metal, how ironic it is that we are deluded with our freedom of opinion and actions, and what is most pathetic is that we are being manipulated to have the feeling that we are in control of our mind and our being I don’t know if these ideas come to me because I came into contact with a field where success in it, means the ability to rob minds of their awareness and make them worshipers of what must be perceived and understood.

The fact that there is an enormous amount of information gathered from you about you so that you can be understood and predict all your upcoming moves, all your vulnerabilities, and create a desire and turn it into a need that is not actually be satisfied except within you, is a cause for concern.

The product has become you, your awareness, and your attention, whether you like it or not. A product like all products. That product is who you are and what you decide and what you think. It's a product that is sold at the most expensive prices as if it has become a human organ sold in the organ market, human trade, and slavery, your freedom is sold to those who wish to benefit from it and that is the product that made professional data mining companies the richest companies in human history, such as Meta , 谷歌 , Twitter , and others.

Psychology to persuade people is used to exploit the vulnerability that resides in human psychology, and thus the weakness of one's awareness of their behaviors, decisions, and control over them has become a weapon that will be used against them.

It became not just very easy, but actually what happens every second is to implant an idea or concept in our minds without feeling it, and then make the illusion that we had the freedom and awareness enough to think about that idea, so next time you are buying that Coke, Pepsi, Bag, or even Galaxy Chocolates , KitKat Chocolatory , or Mars Wrigley I want you to remember that you are buying an illusion you thought you needed.
