All About the LASHCONference 2022

If you are a lash artist living in the 21 century, you probably have heard of The LASHCONference, the biggest lash event in the world. Organized by Tussanee and Paul from The Lash Cast, it's the perfect place to network, learn new lash techniques, attend business workshops, and purchase lash products at discounted prices.?

The LASHCONference 2022 was held in Pasadena, California, from November 5-7th, and as always, it didn't disappoint! Attendees were able to learn from some of the best in the business, network with others in the industry, and have a great time doing it.

About LASHCON

The event brought together some of the biggest names in the lash industry, including Prolong Lash, of course! We met so many amazing people, and Jodi, our CEO, presented to such a great crowd. What an excellent opportunity to meet our partners, network, share knowledge and have fun!?

Highlights from the Lash Conference 2022?

This year's LASHCONnference was jam-packed with informative sessions, inspiring speeches, and plenty of fun. Here are just a few of the highlights:?

1. Prolong Lash's Booth?

As Diamond Sponsors of the Lash Conference, we knew we had to present a fantastic booth for the attendees. Our main objective during the conference was to network, see our partners face-to-face, and meet new people, so our goal was to design a friendly and welcoming space. As a result, our booth had the following:?

• Its own Instagrammable place!?We know everybody loves selfies, so we decided to spoil the attendees with an exclusive space to take photos and tag us. We had different props to pose with, but the most popular one was, "You wash your panties, so wash your lashes" haha, it's true, though!?
• Cleanser Concentrate Dilution Demo:?The number one question we receive daily at Prolong Lash relates to our?Cleanser Concentrate?Dilution Process. So, we knew we had to take advantage of this event to educate the lash community about the importance and?benefits of having their own branded lash bath. We did over 100 demonstrations and were happy to see many lash artists interested in the world's most loved lash cleanser!
• Interactive Games:?As we said before, we wanted to connect with people, so what better way to engage with attendees than gaming? We had guessing games and treasure hunting happening during the three days of the conference. Seeing everybody engaging and having fun with the Prolong Team and winning prizes was so rewarding!?
• Aussie Team and Souvenirs!?As many of you know, Prolong Lash is proudly Australian, so we couldn't wait to bring a little bit of downunder to America. Our team was super excited to meet everyone, network, share knowledge, show off our accent and give away lots of Caramello Koalas (they were a hit)!?

2. Insightful Speeches?

LashCON 2022 brought together many inspiring speakers who are not only lash influencers, lash trainers, and owners of lash brands but also best-selling authors and business experts outside the lash industry. They held workshops and enlightened attendees about the business,?marketing, and customer service side of running a lash business and how to set their goals, scale their business and use social media and other marketing techniques to grow.?

And yes, in case you are wondering…our fabulous CEO, Jodi Harrison, was a speaker too! During an exclusive Salon Owners' Breakfast, she shared her business knowledge and tips on brand growth. She also talked to the entire LASHCON audience about some common?business mistakes?lash artists make when?starting out?and explained how to prevent them. All the speeches genuinely inspired attendees to make a difference in their businesses.?

3. Networking Opportunities

One of the best parts about conferences is meeting new people and hearing their stories. The LASHCON is no different. We had great conversations with many talented people at this year's event. The conference offered various networking opportunities that allowed attendees to connect and build lasting relationships, like parties, meetups and workshops. It was the perfect weekend to meet new people, learn new techniques, and discover the?latest products?on the market. True lash heaven!?

4. Inspiration

We all know that being a lash artist can be very lonely sometimes. Plus, many struggle with starting their own business. That's why it is important to?network, study and connect with the lash industry. After attending LASHCON, it's impossible not to feel motivated. Even businesses like Prolong Lash were influenced by the inspired atmosphere of the event. We had the chance to brainstorm with other speakers, partners, and resellers. We arrived home with many new ideas and suggestions to improve and expand our business.?

Well, we could spend hours talking about LASHCON 2022, but we think we got our point. We had an incredible time at this year's LASHCONference, and we're already counting down the days until next year's event!
