All izz well!

All izz well!

Say, “All izz well!” Thinking why I am using the line from a popular song in the movie #3Idiots – #Hindi (remade in Tamil as #Nanban)? Well, I am beginning this month’s 2nd newsletter with an advice or suggestion. The world is in chaos right now! I believe that people who grew up in the late 80s or early 90s (like me) have gone through at least three lifetimes. We have seen it all!

On the bright side, there have multiple advancements in technology, communication, transport (we are now so close to civilian travel in space!), and also a better understanding of the universe.? Yet, we have also witnessed multiple battles, political scenarios, natural disasters, and so on. This makes me think; “are we progressing or declining or just staying where we were thousands of years ago?”

·???????? Almost everyone has a mobile phone; yet there always is miscommunication between family, friends and colleagues. The world has become more open to the concept of relationships; yet there are many divorces!

·???????? The internet has brought the world closer and yet countries have issues with their neighbors. (Don’t ask me to point out. You know yourselves).

·???????? There is a lot more access to quality education. Yet many are jobless and many more are unskilled.

·???????? Medicines has advanced beyond imagination yet sickness is also progressing at the same pace, if not more. Covid-19 and similar epidemics have become normal!

·???????? And, so on and on….

There are several such instances, but I guess neither time nor space (on this platform) allows me to list all of them. But I am sure that readers do get the idea. Now, let me ask? “Do we stop living because of all these issues?” ?Human beings are a complex species. We don’t appreciate what we have and we don’t know how much more we want. Yet, we keep going. How? By repeating,

“All izz well!” ??

Now, take these scenarios.

1.?????? You have been jobless for a long time. Multiple searches almost everyday on various platforms as well as through references have yielded no positive outcome. Yet, do you stop looking for a job? Or actually, do you sit idly waiting for a job to land in your lap? Nah! You say….#Allizzwell!”, and just keep trying.

2.?????? You are affected with another strain of covid-19, or the emerging Mpox or even you have had an injury because of an accident. Do you write a will claiming your time is over??? Nope. What do you do? Say…#Allizzwell!”, and just keep trying.

3.?????? The government you voted for was not elected and you don’t approve of the current government’s schemes. So, do you leave the country? :-D What do you say? #Allizzwell!”, and move on.

The message in this newsletter is to remain positive, no matter what the challenge is. After every night comes a morning. Btw, around 11:am today marks 21 years since doctors of a leading hospital in #Coimbatore marked me dead and said there was no chance I could live and even if I did….I would be disabled. Yet, I keep saying. #Allizzwell! ??
