I’m thankfully in the sunnier climes of Cyprus this week speaking at a Leadership and HR Conference. Whilst I love the Autumn colours I’m happy with a blast of blue sky and sun. I’m delighted to be able to announce we have now confirmed the majority of our Guest Experts who will be supporting me in next year’s ‘Do Workplace Health Right’ Live 2025.
This international 3 month programme is kicking off early January and running through to the end of March 2025. This is a practical, simple and structured way of covering the A-Z of workplace health and mental health (how to create and implement workplace strategies).
Peter Cheese - CEO at CIPD?
I am delighted that Peter has agreed to come and answer questions about his ideas in his book ‘The New World of Work’, his experience as Global Managing Director for Accenture’s Global People Practise, and his current role as CEO of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Jamie Broadley - Group Head of Health & Wellbeing at Serco?
Jamie will be talking through and answering how he led Serco to be one of the world’s first organisations that has achieved the new Global Psychosocial Risk Standard (ISO 45003), as well as attaining 3 successive Tier 1 CCLA Mental Health Benchmark Rankings (another world first).
Peter Kelly ?? Occupational Health Psychologist at Being Real??
Back for the third time (by popular demand) Peter will explain what the ISO 45003 is (he helped write it). How he conducts ISO 45003 gap analyses for businesses and what you need to do to get the certification. We will also cover other ways for organisations to manage (global) psychosocial risk.
Fiona King - Head of Occupational Health & Wellbeing at HS2
Fiona and I will be talking about (and answering questions on) her career and extensive experience in Occupational Health and Wellbeing. This includes how and where Occupational Health and wellbeing integrate, health and mental health prevention, working in the construction industry, and the role of Occupational Health in workplace health and mental health.
Dr Clare Fernandes MFOM - Chief Medical Officer (Global) at BBC?
Dr Clare and I will be talking (and answering questions) about the role of a Chief Medical Officer within an organisation. Our discussion will cover where occupational health, mental health and wellbeing fits in organisations (of all sizes) and how to create the right types of job roles to support workplace health well.?
Sarah Ambrose - Business Psychologist & Suicide First Aider?
Sarah and I will be talking (and answering questions) about Suicide Prevention. What organisations should be doing, how to train and educate leaders, managers and employees in suicide prevention and awareness. What is current best practice in this area.
Charlotte Jónsdóttir Biering - Global Diversity & Inclusion Lead at Marel?
Charlotte will be talking about and answering questions on the intersectionality between Diversity and Inclusion, and workplace health, mental health and wellbeing. Where they overlap, and where they differ. We will also discuss how the new trend for integrated Diversity and Wellbeing roles can leave organisations at risk of not doing either (EDI or wellbeing) thoroughly or properly. Especially around healthcare provision.?
Yulia O'Mahony - Global Health of Health & Wellbeing at Philip Morris international?
I am delighted that Yulia is coming to talk to participants about stakeholder management and getting Boards on board with workplace health. Yulia and I have known each other for many years, long before our current roles so our discussion will cover our experiences from working across many large corporates and multinationals, including Yulia’s current role at Philip Morris.?
Melis Abacioglu - Founder and CEO at Wellbees
Melis is the CEO and founder of the incredible digital wellbeing provider ‘Wellbees’ which has grown to have over 100 organisation clients globally. Melis will be talking and answering questions on digital health providers. What’s good and what is not. How to embed digital provision into organisation strategies and use data from digital tools make decisions and improve your strategy.??
Leanne Elliott - Chartered Occupational Psychologist at Oblong HQ?
Leanne and I will be talking about the role of Business Psychologists in workplace health and mental health. As wellbeing has grown, so has the range of people working in it. Leanne will answer questions on what Business Psychologists do and how they can improve workplace health and mental health by bringing a clear evidence base of interventions and practices that work. Especially for SMEs.?
Maria Paviour - CEO and Innovator of Cari. Occupational Psychologist?
Maria is an expert in data and measurement. We will be discussing what to measure, why and how in terms of workplace health, mental health and wellbeing. Understanding how to measure the impact of wellbeing strategies (at an individual and organisational level) is the often the biggest challenge employers face.?
Dr Glenda Rivoallan - Founder at We Talk Wellbeing
Dr Glenda is coming to talk about resilience and what is best practice for organisations to do build this across their workforces. She will also talk about what is good in terms of Wellbeing Coaching and what a Wellbeing Coach can do for an organisation.?
Jodie Hill - Managing Partner at Thrive Law?
Jodie is an employment lawyer with expertise in mental health and neurodiversity. She will be joining ‘Do Workplace Health Right’ Live to talk about the legal framework in which mental health fits, how this has changed, and our work together to build a legal strategic framework for organisations to follow.?
