All good things come to an end, Saying Goodbye to ERIKS

After an extensive period today is my last day working for ERIKS and more particular ERIKS Nederland . In a period that changed the world and in which we are facing several global issues and crisis I have worked for this amazing company on a number of Supply Chain projects. This is a big thank to all the people I have worked with in Capelle, Halle, Botlek, Mol, Rotterdam, Ede , Europe and wherever.

In the extensive period I have seen people coming, growing, get promoted internally and externally , leave ERIKS and even some dear colleagues sadly passed away. Sander, Lei, Lisa wherever you are now you where and are fantastic and truly inspring people to work with. I enjoyed every minute of it.

Special Thanks to Hans Quant , Michel Princen , Robert John Richardson and Remco van Haastrecht for hiring me in Capelle where the journey started. Without your leadership and trust we could not have achieved what we have achieved in such a short time period. I admired the commitment of Sander Splinter MD Netherlands who truly showed commitment and inspiring leadership in the most difficult times.

Thanks to the Dreamteam Emre Kumas, Jesse Oosterhoff and Erik Verboon for allow me to jointly lead and inspire the team in Capelle. Only working this way we where able to stabilise the operation quickly and to restore performance to our customers at a rate that would not have been possible without this endless commitment. Quickly after the darkest period achieving better performance than ever before was the reward for the hard work of you and your teams. I'm convinces that each of you will do great in the future in your careers and will with great pleasure follow what you are doing and wherever it will bring you.

Thanks to the amazing team in Capelle that showed commitment like I have not seen often before. Big thanks to Robert John Richardson and Evert Romviel for involving me in the startup for the new Automated CDC in Halle. I think the initial results where great, delivered a working solution without major issues in the middle of the most difficult Corona period. Thanks for the team in Halle / Germany Niki Distler , Andre Scherff , Juergen Proebstle , Menno Peeters , Adrian Sielhorst , Andrea Fischer , Lukas Rehaag , Bjoern, Eduard Roloff , Mila, Sebastian, Hale, Nils, Alina, Malte Jaegler , Tim Waterhouse , Oemer Ayar , Carsten Pohl , Namik Okumus . Jointly reducing the relocation period from 24 to 6 months was a major achievement.

Thanks to the project team that successfully relocated the Gasket production facility from Alkmaar to Botlek in less than 9 months. Ron Dikken , Hans Feenstra, Bart Bennink , Peter Kuilman , Rene van de Pol, Ravi Angnoe , Sebastiaan van de Wiel , Amy Kunst , and the whole production and Logistics team on site. Your fantastic commitment and can-do mentality made this possible way within budget. A big compliment for the whole team in Botlek for the startup period that has not always been ease but where your worked hard and executed your own plan. I'm convinced that under the new leadership of Jesse Oosterhoff with the experience available in the team on site you will do great in the coming years.

Thank you all for allowing me to work with you, we had good and bad times , did some bad, a lot of good and some great things. I enjoyed it all and wish you all a lot of joy, fun, good health and fortune for everything that comes in the future.

All of you are in my heart, some of you I consider friends , some even friends for life, and some of you (quit some) whether you like it or not are in my heart and have become part of my business Family. I love you all, will miss you and are ready for working with you again any time.
