Tiffany & Co. and CFDA Launch First Jewelry?Award
Tiffany & Co. has partnered with the Council of Fashion Designers of America with a first-of-its-kind award: the Tiffany & Co. x CFDA Jewelry Designer Award. The award recognizes outstanding American jewelry designers who are committed to driving inclusivity within the design industry and elevating jewelry design as its own category akin to womenswear and menswear.
“The inaugural Tiffany & Co. x CFDA Jewelry Designer Award uplifts Tiffany Atrium’s commitment to fostering lasting change across the jewelry and design industries. With a rich history of supporting inclusivity and creative excellence, Tiffany & Co. continues to be a champion for creative expression and social impact,” said Alexandre Arnault, executive vice president of product, communications and industrial, Tiffany & Co. said in a statement.
Participants will receive mentorship and an immersive learning experience where they can dive into the Tiffany’s creative legacy. One designer among the participants will be selected to receive a yearlong fellowship within Tiffany & Co.’s design department, along with a $50,000 award.

All the Fashion at the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening?Ceremony
Paris promised to kick off the 2024 Olympic Games with the greatest show on earth. Mother Nature rained on the French capital’s parade, but Friday’s opening ceremony was still a feast of homegrown fashion.
With LVMH Mo?t Hennessy Louis Vuitton on board as a premium partner, its Dior, Louis Vuitton and Berluti brands all played a role in the three-and-a-half hour show that unfurled on the Seine, marking the first time the opening ceremony has not taken place in a stadium.

More unexpectedly, the event also shone a spotlight on a plethora of independent Paris-based designers, with Jeanne Friot, Charles de Vilmorin, Victor Weinsanto, Alphonse Maitrepierre, Kevin Germanier and others featured at different points during the story that unfolded in front of landmarks including the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral.

The LVMH Mo?t Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned houses’ project, due out in August, came about organically. It includes reformulated Rouge G lipsticks, Météorites and Terracotta products dressed up in Pucci’s iconic Marmo print.?
Guerlain first approached the Italian fashion brand.
“Immediately, I thought there’s no question or doubt — it’s for us,” said Camille Miceli, artistic director of Pucci, who explained it made great sense for the brand to create makeup hues — since colors are so important for the label — and to push boundaries.?
