All Eyes on Hypocrisy: The Selective Outrage of Celebrities and common people

In the past 48 hours, a wave of social media posts by celebrities, from Ariana Grande to David Beckham, has swept across the internet. These posts, part of a global Palestinian propaganda campaign under the banner "All Eyes on Rafah," vehemently decry the tragic events in Rafah, where an explosion of ammunition hidden by Hamas in a populated area led to the deaths of innocent people.

The outcry over this incident is intense, and rightly so, as every innocent life lost is a tragedy.Yet, there is a glaring inconsistency in this selective outrage. On the very same day, in the city of Al-Bashir, Sudan, 47 innocent people were murdered, adding to the tens of thousands killed in the region over the past year. Where is the global campaign for Al-Bashir? Where are the celebrity posts mourning these lost lives? It seems that unless Israel is involved, the world turns a blind eye.

This selective activism reveals a deeper issue: the hypocrisy of those who claim to champion human rights. If the world truly cared about the innocent lives lost in Gaza, they would also advocate for the release of all Israeli hostages by Hamas and support efforts to dismantle this terrorist organization. Instead, their silence on other atrocities highlights a disturbing trend of bias and inconsistency.

The bottom line is clear: supporting terrorism, directly or indirectly, only perpetuates the cycle of violence and suffering. The true solution to these tragedies lies in stopping wars, ending the conflict, and ensuring the release of all hostages. Only through a genuine, consistent commitment to human rights can we hope to address the root causes of these conflicts and protect innocent lives.
