Fear of failure kills almost all projects before the concepts ever gets off the ground. I learned a long time ago that there comes a time when you have practiced enough, thought enough and planned enough and you just have to "go for it" come hell or high water. Don't live your life with regrets and perpetually stalled ambitions. I won a karaoke contest on a cruise ship to sing to Elvis songs in full costume in front of 500 people. One brief practice and it was show time! Good, bad or indifferent never let fear or loss of face rule your life. It might just be fun too!
