Not All Choices Are Equal
I want to take a moment of your time to talk about creating choices... not the small ones that you make every day be the choices you make in regards to where you want your life to go and what you choose to create.
So I want you to imagine that when you're choosing to create something, you're creating it with no strings attached. There's no problem you're trying to solve, there are no limitations attached to it. You're choosing it because you want to. Feels a little weird right? Almost like there have been safety nets removed... no limitations to keep you safe. Here's what I want you to realise though - when you create a choice that's focused on fixing something or gaining something... you're setting yourself up for failure
Because if the problem is the only reason that you're motivated to go ahead
Can you see that? You don't need a problem to create something. You can just be totally happy and satisfied with where you are now and choose to have something just because you can. And I want you to own this. The present is not better, the present is just different from your end result. So our choice is the seed, and that seed then becomes a seedling and then becomes a tree that then creates more seeds, and eventually, it turns into a forest. And that's what creation-based choices do - they eventually grow into what you've chosen.
Because here's a truth - if you believe the future is always going to be better than the present... You're missing the point. If you can recognise the present is perfect and that it is everything you need right now, then you'll be able to create effective choices for the future. But what are some examples of ineffective choices?
1. First up, we have choice by limitation. This happens when we limit ourselves to only what seems possible or reasonable. We don't think outside the box, and we don't explore other options. We simply choose the safest and most comfortable route, which can hinder our progress
2. Next, we have choice by indirectness. This happens when we focus on the process instead of the result. We get so caught up in the steps that we forget what we're trying to achieve. This can lead to confusion and frustration.

3. Then, there's choice by elimination. This happens when we eliminate all other possibilities so that only one choice remains. We become so fixated on one option that we don't consider any others. This can limit our growth and prevent us from discovering new opportunities
4. Choice by default is when we choose not to make a choice. We let things happen without taking action or making a decision. This can lead to missed opportunities and regret.
5. Conditional choice is when we impose preconditions on our choices. We say things like, "I want to have this, but in order to have that, I have to do this." We create unnecessary limitations that prevent us from achieving our goals.
6. Then there's choice by reaction. This happens when we make choices to overcome a conflict. We react to a situation instead of thinking it through and considering all the options. This can lead to rash decisions and unintended consequences.
7. Choice by consensus is when we choose based on what everyone else thinks or recommends. We don't trust our own instincts and instead rely on the opinions of others. This can lead to regret and missed opportunities.
8. Finally, there's choice by "the universe," "karma," or some other metaphysical concept. We believe that our choices are predetermined, or that the universe will provide for us. This can lead to complacency and a lack of personal responsibility
Do any of these feel familiar? It's crazy to think that we can be making, what we think are, amazing choices with great intentions but they're choices that we'll never actually see the results of because they must have a problem and an ineffective creation structure to exist.
So I want you to ask yourself - how are your choices made? Do they have strings attached? And if you were to take a moment to dream, and make a choice with no strings attached... what would it be?

I recently found myself in conflict with an agency I hired to scale my business. After a day of feeling victimized by the situation and the relentless running of problem solving scenarios in my head I SWITCHED my thinking into the CREATION structure and the problem solved itself. I am 5 months into the Magnetic Mind program.
