ALL BLACK LIVES MATTER- According to Christ

Let this sink in. I understand it is offensive and upsetting but it is necessary to get honest with ourselves. A few weeks ago I posted a picture that said I do not support “terrorist groups” such as KKK or Black Lives Matter..... I was corrected by my friends who differentiated between the “real” Black Lives Matter vs the others that claim to be BLM. I adjusted my post as a result. 

After that time I looked into the true statistics of lives killed by police - I was shocked by the results. I was under the impression that the national upheaval, anarchy, looting, rage and the crying out for defunding the police was due to thousands of innocent black persons being unjustly killed each year. 

I did some research and learned that the number of people killed each year by police is under 1,000 and I don’t believe that most of them were innocent non violent people.. non the less... if you look at the statistics, there is a large percentage of “unknown” and a small percentage of “other” who are killed - so lets just say that half of these are black... the numbers of black people killed will be less than or equal to the number of white people killed by police (MIND YOU, there are WAY more white people than black people so the percentage killed is way higher for black people).

Maybe they were more Hispanics, mixed etc... but I am simply trying to share these facts. 

BEFORE you get offended because I mentioned the number of white people being killed in this post, it is only to present the TRUTH about the numbers- and NOT an attempt to take away from the need to stand with our black brothers and sisters against racial inequality and police brutality.

NOW- God and everyone who knows me KNOW that I absolutely love PEOPLE... and this includes Black people. I have black friends who are like family and I have a black son, a partially black son, two daughters who had a great grandmother who was black... and a husband who’s grandmother was black..... sooooooo I LOVE and support BLACK LIVES 100%... BUT I DO NOT SUPPORT the “Black Lives Matter” organization. Over a month ago I read their beliefs on their own website... and have also read much more since that time and it is very disturbing. 

I found a very well written article explaining their beliefs and agenda and I can’t believe any of my Christian friends would support.

It is utterly unbelievable. And of course, they believe that abortion should be allowed and free and funded by the government. NOOOOOOO.

If we REALLY love black people we will speak the truth in love, according to the Bible- We will approach things through LOVE and the desire to bring help and justice to ALL people in need... blacks, Hispanics, Asian, middle eastern, European and YES ..... EVEN white people need help and justice too. 

THE BIBLE says we are ONE BODY.... “neither Jew nor Greek, their is neither slave or free, their is no male or female for you are all one in Christ Jesus”. WE ARE THE CHURCH... WE ARE TO BE THE REPRESENTATIVES of GOD on earth revealing HIS ways and HIS love. NOT join ourselves to organizations that proclaim justice according to the world’s ideas. Rather than feed the frenzy of bitterness and offense- let us focus on SOLUTIONS. Rather than marching and destroying property why not go into the black neighborhoods and help them? Maybe bring food, fix their homes, cut their grass, pay their utilities.... tutor the children,.... provide free counseling ..... and most importantly PRAY for them and PRAY WITH THEM. 

I see “friends” bashing Trump and calling him all sorts of names and I see other “friends” bashing Biden. I see “CHRISTIANS” saying that they will not be friends with those who vote for Trump because they think that those who do are bigoted, racists, greedy, intolerant, etc.... and I see those who hate Biden make fun of those who are voting for him. I am GRIEVED by all of this.... CHRISTIANS WAKE UP!!! Recognize the “signs”... the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy... don’t you see the enemy is causing you to separate yourselves from each other???

Churches MUST rally together and start going into areas as a united team bringing help and hope.  We can bring food, we can set up “safe zones” for children after school where they can go to have a meal and get help with homework. We can donate our offerings and skills (fixing roofs, siding, repairs etc) to help children and families with food and necessities.  

 WE ARE THE CHURCH.  WE CAN NOT fall into the trap of the enemy and allow our hearts to grow “cold” and turn on each other because we want OUR way more than we want to LOVE others and choose GODs way.

There is so much that is on my heart right now because I REALLY LOVE black people, especially my friends.... and I have watched people I know and people I don’t know talk negatively about white people adopting black children, white people being “privileged”, white people as being “greedy”, white people as “stupid” because they don’t “get” why black people are angry.....   Let me make something clear, and once again the FACTS I mention are not to criticize or point fingers.... 

-The facts.. and they hurt:

“Regardless of race, adopting parents prefer to adopt a light-skinned child. A 1999 study at the Institute of Black Parenting, a Los Angeles adoption agency, showed that as many as 40 percent of the African-American couples expressed a preference for a light-skinned or mixed-race child, regardless of their own complexion”. And “While white children waited 23.5 months on average, black children waited 39.4.”

——-I have a dear friend who is very dark and she has told me about how her mother and family called her ugly because she has dark skin ... and how they treated her sister nicely and said she was beautiful because of her lighter skin.  THIS IS NOT WHITE PEOPLE BEING RACIST.... THIS IS BLACK PEOPLE VS BLACK PEOPLE.  

——- SO rather than vilify white people who want to love and raise black children because they want to give them a good life- I hope black people start to say “thank you” and join their white “family” to be ONE IN CHRIST.  I did not choose my sons, GOD did.  I remember learning about how black children take longer to adopt and how they “cost less”.... and was horrified.  I told God I would be honored to be able to adopt a black child... and he literally brought our boys to us. (That is another story I will share later).  AND EVEN IF WE DID “pick” a black child to adopt, it would have been out of love.  

My friends, and those who read this... PLEASE set your heart to love and support BLACK LIVES... Set your heart to find ways to TAKE ACTION. For those of us who truly love our black brothers and sisters, let’s stop sitting around talking about how “sad”, “frustrating”, or “unfortunate” it is for “them” and START TAKING ACTION.  I have known that God has called me to be a “peacemaker” and a “defender” of those who need help. I thank God for this “FIRE” that has ignited in me as a result of the sheer chaos and anger I see around me IN CHRISTIANS.  Let us SHOW that the we REALLY BELEIVE that Black Lives Matter and begin a MOVEMENT based IN CHIRST- not based in the world. 

Do you know what the Bible says about the “end times”???  I do.  And I know that there is a “great falling away from the faith”.... I know that people will turn agains family, friends, church family, etc and betray each other...  HOW can this happen you may ask??? IT IS HAPPENING NOW.  Offense over political views, offense that some people are “privileged”, offense because people have their own opinions about what the Bible says and means, offense because “you don’t understand black lives/ white lives/ Hispanic lives”..... offense because some people have worked hard and became wealthy and they must have some how taken advantage of the poor...  offense because the poor are “lazy”... offense because someone voted Democrat/ republican..... OFFENSE is NOT an option for Christians.  

I am SO grateful that Jesus and the Word of God clearly warned us of this day.  I WILL NOT BE OFFENDED.  I WILL CONTINUE TO LOVE THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO HATE ME AND UNFRIEND ME BECAUSE I WILL NOT COWER TO A MOVEMENT THAT IS NOT FOUNDED IN CHRIST BUT IN AN AGGRESSIVE PLAN TO DEMAND JUSTICE FOR BLACKS ONLY and are actually feeding racism towards whites or non blacks in attempts to end “racism”?????

Just as Christ gasped while hanging on the cross, undoubtedly in agonizing pain as those he loved look on, mocking him... His heart was STILL full of LOVE and He asked His Father to forgive them for they “do not know what they do”.   I CHOOSE to LOVE no matter what others say and do because I KNOW they do not have the peace of love of God and my only hope is to reflect the true love and nature of God though Jesus Christ.  Hopefully when I die, there will be those who say, “Surely, Jesus is the Son of God and the savior of this world.”

Matthew 24:4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
