Of All the Audacity

Yesterday, I found myself in conversation with a great friend around the virtue of Audacity. It is her work. I have been meaning to craft a reflection card on it for some time. It is not currently part of ROCK 105 but I have forged the card this morning, inspired by said conversation.
In some circles, Audacity has gotten a bad wrap. At its most true, it is not about arrogance; it is about the boldness to be. Character matters. It matters beyond skill. The body of virtues all matter. Our own character; it matters. Owning it matters. Enter Audacity.

This virtue is 106, and I will return to it. For now, I simply suggest that you reflect on the card and ask yourself how it might apply for you in practice... either in terms of where you are currently manifesting it and where you might need to do so.
Audacity is not without Discernment. It is not simply "shoot from the hip". It is about crafting our best shot, at life and even how we can make it a better life ... and world. The leaders of great and needed change in history and going forward have called upon and need to call upon their own Audacity.

To this day and beyond, I try my darnedest to honor his spirit with my own work. That is another story. But I hope I did him service here.
