All AI Video Must Have F.A.C.E.S.

As I was preparing for a virtual event with Training Magazine and ELB Learning webinar on the future of AI video for learning and design an acronym came to me. It arrived without the help AI, it just stood out to me when I looked that first letters and re-arranged things. AI Video Must Have FACES. While of the power, emotion and draw of the human face is iconic in life's lessons; it somehow makes sense in the incoming world of robots, AI and talk of faceless software; as a wave for help from ol' Captain Obvious.

Of course, since the dawn of time, storytelling performs better with real human facial expressions whether this is live stage, recorded live action, animation or AI. When it comes to emerging generative A.I. video for Hollywood, for corporate content, or for just for social media traction, F.A.C.E.S. makes even more sense as the considers creator considers fairness, accuracy, compliance, ethics, and security. All five of these factors make up the important personality and future of generative A.I. content.

  • FAIRNESS: AI algorithms can inherit biases from the data they are trained on, leading to biased or unfair content generation. Mitigate these biases and ensure that AI-generated videos are fair and inclusive.
  • ACCURACY: ?maintain a high level of professional, creative accuracy and quality to be credible and useful; addressing issues such as realistic rendering, lip-syncing, and overall visual fidelity.
  • COMPLIANCE: ?Legal and regulatory considerations associated with AI video content, including copyright issues, intellectual property rights, and compliance with industry standards and guidelines
  • ETHICS: ?Ensuring that AI-generated video content is used ethically and responsibly; considerations such as avoiding deepfakes for malicious purposes like misinformation, fraud, or defamation.
  • SECURITY: ?Relying on large datasets, & concerns about data privacy and security. Ensuring that creators handle data responsibly, comply with privacy regulations, and protect sensitive information. - Dan Krolczyk ELB Learning? 2024
