ALIV Business and Partners ‘Give A Helping Hand’ to The Salvation Army

ALIV Business proudly partnered with The Salvation Army for the highly impactful ‘Giving a Helping Hand’ campaign, held on Friday, November 8th, at The Salvation Army’s location on Meadow Street in Grants Town. This initiative underscores ALIV Business’s steadfast commitment to supporting communities and addressing the needs of vulnerable populations.?

The event focused on providing critical support to women and children housed at the shelter, who often stay up to six weeks while their cases are evaluated by Social Services. The day was filled with acts of generosity as the ALIV Business team, alongside various partners, prepared and distributed 75-100 care packages containing essential items such as water, baby formula, pampers, and canned goods.

“Our partnership with The Salvation Army for this special campaign is an expression of our deep commitment to community service,” said Jen Basden , Head of B2B at ALIV Business. “It is vital for us to not only recognize but act on the responsibility we?have to?support those who are most in need. The ‘Giving a Helping Hand’ campaign is an embodiment of our mission to make a meaningful difference.”

The success of this initiative was made possible through the generous support of several partners, including 4inXscape Bahamas Ltd., Bahamas Insurance Commission of The Bahamas, Alka Boost Water, Dunkin' , Super Value,?Bahamasair, B.O.S.S., RBC, CBS Bahamas Ltd , SBDC Bahamas , BCCEC, Sun Oil Limited , and Jeffrey Beckles & Associates. Their contributions of time, resources, and donations underscored the strength of community collaboration.

Participants engaged in the event’s activities shared heartfelt moments with the shelter’s residents, fostering a spirit of connection and hope. Volunteers?from ALIV Business and partner organizations worked?hand-in-hand?to ensure that every guest received both practical and emotional support.
