In alignment with international protocols such as the Kyoto Protocol, which aims to curb carbon emissions globally, we recognize the imperative to adapt swiftly to evolving environmental regulations.
As part of our strategic roadmap, we are integrating Carbon Management into our management systems, ensuring compliance with forthcoming export rules and fostering corporate sustainability.
Across 6000 square meters and totaling 1816 pieces, are poised to generate approximately 1000 kW per hour, translating to a monthly production output of 120,000 kW.
Central to our sustainability agenda is the inception of the Solar Power Plant Project within our factory premises. This initiative underscores our pledge towards achieving carbon neutrality, in line with the European Union Green Agreement's objectives.
The solar panels, spanning across 6000 square meters and totaling 1816 pieces, are poised to generate approximately 1000 kW per hour, translating to a monthly production output of 120,000 kW. Not only will this investment significantly reduce our electricity costs, but it will also enable us to cover the majority of our energy needs internally.
Furthermore, our commitment to sustainable production extends beyond energy efficiency. Part of our investments are in advanced technologies such as robotics, gas-oxygen fusion, and state-of-the-art sorting systems to optimize production processes, minimize resource consumption, and enhance product quality.
As we await final permissions for the activation of our solar energy panels, we remain steadfast in our pursuit of cost-saving measures and energy efficiency.
Our sustainability agenda
●????? Cost and Emission Reduction: Our primary motivation for this investment lies in reducing electricity costs and carbon emissions. By covering most of our electricity needs through solar power, we aim to achieve significant savings and environmental benefits.
●????? Solar Panel Capacity: With 1816 solar panels spanning 6000 square meters, we anticipate producing 1000 kW per hour, totaling 120,000 kW per month, fulfilling our energy requirements for the existing project.

●????? Feasibility and Necessity: As electricity-intensive processes like scrap treatment, conveyor belts, and sorting lines become increasingly common, our investment in solar power becomes both feasible and essential for sustainable production. The anticipated payback period of around 5 years underscores its viability.
●????? Cost Reduction Impact: Through solar energy production, we expect to reduce costs by approximately USD 20,000 monthly, demonstrating the significant financial benefits of this investment.
●????? Technological Innovations: Our investment extends beyond solar power to include robotics, gas-oxygen fusion, X-ray machines, and Eddy Current systems? to sort scrap. These technologies enhance production efficiency, reduce labor costs, and improve resource utilization.
●????? Commitment to Efficiency: Our goal is to activate solar energy panels expeditiously to realize immediate cost and energy savings. Additionally, we aim to reduce natural gas consumption in production by 30% by the end of 2024 through the use of oxy-fuel technology and improve scrap separation processes to minimize resource consumption.
Our commitment to sustainable production fundamentally reflects our commitment to innovation, efficiency and environmental responsibility, making Heneken Metalürji D?küm active support of industry in creating a greener future for the metallurgical sector.
Heneken Metalürji D?küm presents Greenfield Project - a state-of-the-art secondary aluminum plant with a minimal carbon footprint located in Izmir, Turkey, headed by Co?kun Kele?.
Our facility boasts an annual capacity of 36,000 metric tons for aluminum alloys. In March 2023, we celebrated a significant milestone when we successfully produced our inaugural series of secondary aluminum ingots.
Today, we are fully equipped and ready to produce precision-tailored aluminum alloys to meet your unique specifications and accommodate any necessary modifications.
We are a proud member of the Heneken Group consisting of 13 subsidiaries, with almost 600 employees.
