Celebrating 60 Years

Founded in 1964 by Fred Alger, 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of our firm. As a pioneer in growth investing, we remain committed to uncovering attractive investment opportunities through our fundamental research and investing in companies undergoing Positive Dynamic Change. Over the past few months, we’ve taken a journey through 60 years of Alger strategies, highlighting funds starting with our flagship Alger Spectra Fund (SPECX; important disclosures) that launched in 1974. Earlier this week on our LinkedIn page, we closed out this series by highlighting the latest products that launched this year.

We also commemorated several employee anniversaries this year, including CEO and CIO Dan Chung , who celebrated his 30th year with Alger. Read his letter to investors here.

Giving Back to Our Local Communities

To celebrate our 60th anniversary, we launched the “60 For 60” challenge (read about it in our previous article, Inside Alger’s “60 For 60” Challenge). We were thrilled to see over 100 Alger employees participate in community initiatives throughout the year.
