Alexa : Find me an Insurance Agent

Juniper Research tells us that by 2022, 55% of all Households in the United States will have a voice-activated speaker.

Are you a fan of asking Alexa to assist in your every day life? If so, experiment yourself and spend some time asking Alexa to buy you different things.

Think about it: if your product isn't on the mind of Alexa and other voice-activated speakers by 2022, you are missing out on a majority of the Households you can reach.

Don't fight it... it's going to happen... prepare yourself.

With Farmers Insurance based out of Los Angeles, I took the time to play around with my Dot over the weekend. Alexa, when asked, gave me one insurance agent when summoned to do so... and it was 28 miles away.

Within 28 miles of my apartment are approximately 10 million people and thousands of insurance agents... with at least 1 probably within a block of my apartment.

However, Alexa only pulls what the internet tells her to pull. Unfortunately, our industry has some catching up to. Luckily there's time... sort of.

It's weird to see the year 2022... in your head it's 10 years away... but in reality it's basically 3 years away.

In 3 years... will your product be on the top of mind in Alexa/55% of American Households? There's time to make sure of that!
