The Detroit Metro Area received a 100 year rainfall on Friday afternoon and evening and some of the images we see coming out of the Detroit Metro area are simply incredible! The eastside of Detroit is underwater especially near I-94 parts of Hamtramck is under water parts of Grosse Pointe is under water those areas received between 6 to 7 inches of rain. It's clam now like the eye off a hurricane is over us but more severe weather is coming this afternoon and evening so get prepared for the next round STAY OFF THE ROADS! this morning most everything is completely flooded out the freeways all of them the main roads and the side streets are flooded out police and firefighters having been doing rescues all night all over the metro area and some people are still stranded. The freeways are really dangerous and most are closed or closing avoid freeways if you can if you have to go out. It's clam now like we are in the eye part of a hurricane but more severe weather is coming this afternoon and evening so get prepared for the next round be well.
