#ALDIpower | Meet Chiara from International Marketing department

Getting to know different departments, finding out about your own strengths and continuously developing yourself – this is the case for Chiara, who now works as Specialist in International Marketing. Starting out as an assistant, she is now responsible for marketing-related operating systems and projects. In the interview, Chiara tells you more about her personal development, special projects and what power you need to get started in Marketing.

Chiara, for more than 6 years you have been working at ALDI Nord now – so basically all your working life. How has your career developed since you started??

I have had the opportunity to get to know many exciting departments and to constantly develop myself further during the last years. I started in July 2016 as an assistant in the Corporate Responsibility department. After that, I was an assistant to the management board for almost two years. During that time, I have also completed a bachelor's degree in economics and management. After graduating, I worked for another year as an assistant to the Chief Strategy Officer, before I started as Specialist in the International Marketing department a year and a half ago. I am very happy about the support that I got from my employer and my colleagues and I am proud of what I have achieved so far.?

What is the International Marketing department responsible for???

Our team sees itself as a service provider for all marketing and communication departments in all countries where the ALDI Nord Group of Companies is represented. Our tasks include, for example, advising on corporate design issues, creating templates and guidelines or implementing new processes and standards. A big part of this is the communication and exchange of ideas within our Marketing community.??

Can you tell us about a special project you are working on??

A particularly exciting project is our current community management project. The project involves the introduction of a special tool for managing all social media activities on all relevant channels. In the next step, training sessions will be held, so that our community managers are optimally prepared for the launch of the tool.??

For me, ALDI power is reflected in our great team spirit, cohesion and achieving goals together.?Together as a team, we can make a difference and be successful in the long term. That's why I love sharing my knowledge with colleagues and learning new things from others.?My motto: Knowledge doubles when it is shared!
