Sustainable AI can reduce carbon emissions while generating massive profit for corporations
Ethical AI can boost the productivity of a corporate team and generate every growing profit.
It's time to demystify the cognitive dissonance between ethics, sustainable AI systems, and corporate profit.
When I was a student, I camped near Muir Woods, north of San Francisco, and around 5 am at sunrise, I walked a few hundred yards to discover the majesty of the Sequoias in the rising sunlight. John Muir has inspired many of us. I knew then that trees are part of the key to our future.
I also understood that the only way to make the planet a better place was to make sustainable and ethical systems very profitable for corporations.
My AI material optimizing software, at my local level, has saved corporations and the planet tons of trees, plants, livestock(leather), and toxic waste in the chemical industry. We now need to all work in this direction.
With my AI software, I contributed millions of dollars of profit for corporations and thus preventing tons of toxic waste to reach the atmosphere and our rivers.
How did I do this?
#Artificialintelligence used to optimize natural resources transmutes our raw ideas into great green, planet-saving software in a profitable way for major corporations.
I explained how to use AI by example to optimize any process thus consuming less by still making increasing profits. The book, published in 2018, is packed with case studies and Python programs related to manufacturing, warehouses through Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning, Chatbots, and more.
The book is based on AI projects carried out over the years for aerospace, apparel, warehouse corporations, and more. I shared this experience at the Innowave 2018 conference in Varna, Bulgaria with both researchers, entrepreneurs, and open-minded venture capitalists.
The core idea presented was that there is no need to fear Artificial Intelligence any more than a knife in your kitchen which can be used to eat or to kill for the past thousands of years.
I presented chatbot technology that can drive a DQN that can optimize an automatic apparel manufacturing process. Bear in mind that the more your AI program optimizes the process the more energy you save at all levels and the more you are helping our planet. The DQN can be represented in a three-step AI process:
1. A CNN to analyze video frames on a conveyor belt
2. A customized production station load balancing optimizer

3. The Markov Decision Process-based Bellman Equation to optimize the workloads
AI Chatbot driven applications will deeply change our way of life when combined with IoT. I went on a presented these ideas at the 2018 MISC Conference in Rabat, Morocco, in December 2018
In general, AI Chatbot-driven bots and chatbots have tremendous automation potential. I explained this in an O'Reilly Safari Online course in December 2018 for 200 viewers.
My experience with chatbots goes way back to the word2vector patent I registered in 1982 and the Cognitive NLP Chabot I built in the 1980s. For more please read this article on Linkedin:
Chatbots, AI algorithms, and IoT form a fantastic New Frontier potential for all of us.
The Art of Artificial Intelligence. Be creative!
Going to a shop and buying a canvas, paint, and brushes does make a painter out of any of us. Hard work will get the techniques right. But only creativity will trigger off the alchemy of transforming raw ideas into real-life implementations.
Let your mind expand without limits into flow mode. That's what AI innovation is really about!
I've been working for quite some time on a MindX project (see chapter 17 of Artificial Intelligence by Example) that applies word2vector algorithms to concepts and images that can be represented in a PCA or T-SNE interface.
If you're a data scientist or AI developer, get ready for the next generation of AI algorithms! Below, that is NOT an image of the Mona Lisa BUT an AUDIO file. It contains the embedded image of the Mona Lisa in sound waves obtained with a Fourier Transform. It's embedded in the spectrogram of the audio file.

I've been working on enhancing the algorithm to generate music instead of simple sound waves. Image to music AI applications are obvious creative fields to explore creativity. It's really fun to play around with these algorithms.
Bottom line: There is an ethical, green path for AI. Build it. Make the world a better place.
