"Alchemist" is a motivational book. Paulo Coelho narrates a story of a young shepherd who always had a desire to travel and who opt to be shepherd just to fulfil his dream and discover treasures. Unlike, other motivational books this book has a spiritual element as well. From the very beginning till the end the book grabs my interest. It’s not only because of the expression and good storyline but because it gives me a flashback of my own life journey. Above all the storyline is a beautiful combination of love, spirituality and passion. Paulo tells how everything turns into one's favour if (s) he follows the passion faithfully. Interestingly the part of the story that gives me goosebumps was that when the author mentions that everything in this world has a soul called “Soul of World”. That can listen to us and feel us. The journey to the destination becomes even easier if one understands the soul of the world. The book mesmerizes me totally and I must say if you love to read books and looking for some motivation you must read this book.
