Alchemab has chosen to partner with?Age UK Cambridgeshire & Peterborough (AgeUKCAP) as its UK charity of the year in 2024. Alchemab staff are committed to volunteering their time, raising money and awareness on behalf of Age UKCAP in the hope that they can reach their fundraising goals.
Beverley Young, Chief Partnerships Officer at Age UKCAP said,
“We help approximately 2,000 local individuals a week to help prevent, reduce, or delay interventions, and deliver services to support older people to live well, independently, and safely in their own home.? Early in our conversations with Alchemab, it became apparent that both organisations are focused on the impact of our work and are driven to deliver the best outcomes with people in mind. Being chosen as Alchemab’s 2024 charity partner, means we can keep delivering these vital services and making an impact in people’s lives.”

“It seemed hopeless. I didn’t know where to turn and then you showed me the way. Just having someone to talk to was such a relief, but you’ve done so much for me too.”?
Martin Butler, Alchemab Head of Operations, and Co-Chair of Alchemab’s Charity Committee commented,
“The incredible work that Age UKCAP delivers to people in the local region really resonated with our staff and made them an easy choice as our charity partner for 2024. Age UKCAP is very local to our UK site and they also help to maintain healthy aging, which aligns with our scientific focus. “Our hope is that we can help Age UKCAP raise essential funds, which will allow them to continue to deliver their exceptional services at ground level in our local region. Our staff are also keen to support Age UKCAP clients both through volunteering at their network of local support centres, and also via telephone befriending, which plays a vital role in supporting isolated residents locally. “We look forward to working in partnership with Age UKCAP this year and hope that we can forge a lasting relationship between our two organisations.”
Thank you so much! We look forward to our partnership and meeting more of you ??
