Alan Rodriguez and Fabiola Barinas Chairman’s Club

Chasing their early dreams of stardom, both Alan Rodriguez and his wife, Fabiola Barinas, achieved success with roles on Spanish-language television. However, the life of an actor often includes long lulls in between jobs. When he wasn’t acting, Alan worked hard to support the family as a full-time assistant manager at a retail store while also working part time at his father’s business. 

“Alan had to work the whole day, including a few Sundays with 12-hour shifts,” Fabiola recalls. “I had just finished a role on a soap opera with Univision studios and was looking for my next gig, which always has the potential for disappointment since so much of the casting process is out of your hands.” It was around this time that Alan struck up a conversation at the gym with the person who would become his Herbalife Nutrition Sponsor. He and Fabiola attended a Herbalife Nutrition Opportunity Meeting and were impressed by what they saw. “After that day, we decided to attend a Herbalife Nutrition Extravaganza, worked hard, and our lives changed,” recalls Alan. “I still remember our excitement when we got our first check,” says Fabiola. “It may not have been a lot, but to us, it symbolized the door opening to a new life.”

Alan and Fabiola were quick to realize social media’s potential for growing their business. Their strategic thinking, charisma and legendary work ethic quickly earned them the respect and admiration of their Herbalife Nutrition peers throughout the world. Today their Instagram and blog posts have attracted more than three-quarters of a million followers, allowing them to spread their message of good nutrition and fitness to an audience even larger than they had during their days appearing on popular television shows. Today, the Unstoppable Fit Couple are at the forefront of the next generation of Herbalife Nutrition leadership. As Fabiola puts it, “We have a solid business, we spend time with our two kids and, most importantly, we have the time and health to enjoy it. Time and health – what a combination!”
