I get to photograph super interesting people from all walks of life and within so many varied places and countries. Something that I feel very fortunate and lucky about. Sometimes though you get to photograph a special 'character' who takes you on a short personal journey that stays stuck in your mind for a long time. Here's Alan Gardner, the garden/landscape designer who we photographed in his hometown in Birmingham a little while ago for the German DIY store Bauhaus.
