?? Why the Alan F. Wohlstetter Educational Scholarship?
- IAM Community Support: As a member, member dependent, or student member of IAM, we recognize and appreciate your commitment to foster a culture of accessibility, excellence, and continuous improvement. Our merit-based scholarship is designed to support individuals within the IAM community pursuing education in moving and mobility-related fields or related fields of study.
- Financial Assistance: Receive a $5,000 USD scholarship/award to ease the financial burden associated with education. Empower your academic pursuits without worrying about expenses.
- Focused Fields of Study: Preference will be given to students interested in transportation and the global mobility industry and/or pursuing disciplines in related fields of study that are applicable to the global mobility industry. For example, if you are studying to be a doctor or a nurse, you are not eligible for this scholarship. If you have any questions about your eligibility, please contact [email protected] to verify.
- Global Inclusivity: All IAM members and their dependents – US and International – are eligible to apply and submit their personal insight questions in their native language. Further information on accepted languages is specified in the application.
- Alan F. Wohlstetter Legacy: Be part of a legacy that values dedication, innovation, and leadership. This scholarship is not just about financial support; it's a recognition of your potential to contribute to the industry.
- Current member, member dependent, or student member of the International Association of Members (IAM)
- Pursuing an eligible field of study within moving and mobility
- Minimum 3.0 GPA or international equivalent
- High school seniors attending college and current college students are eligible to apply
- Selected recipients must be registered to attend college the following academic semester and will need to provide proof upon selection
- Application Period: January 1 - May 1
