Al Amthal Group Enhances the Optimum ERP System!!

Al Amthal Group is excited to announce significant improvements to the current Optimum system, aimed at enhancing performance, security, scalability, and user experience. This upgrade involves a comprehensive overhaul of the technology stack and system integration.

Staying on trend with the latest technology is one of our major goals.

The first major change involves transitioning the existing ERP system to a three-layer architecture. This approach will separate the application into three distinct layers: the front end, built using Angular 18 for a modern and responsive user interface; the back end, utilizing .NET Core 8 for robust business logic and API management; and a centralized database that securely stores all data.

What does this mean?

This new architecture aligns with industry standards, allowing for broader scalability as the business grows. Users can expect enhanced security, improved application performance, and improved responsiveness. Enhanced user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design will make the application more intuitive, while the improved architecture ensures better data availability and integrity, thereby enhancing overall security.

In addition to upgrading the technology stack, Al Amthal Group is integrating hardware devices directly into the new system via cloud protocols. This integration will utilize the MQTT protocol, also implemented in .NET Core 8.

That’s not all….

This initiative will create a seamless, automated system that serves as an all-in-one solution. Data management will become more streamlined, with reduced data discrepancies and direct integration with hardware. The handling of hardware through the system will result in less inconvenience for customers, making operations smoother and more efficient.

What’s next?

The mobile application, originally developed with the Ionic framework, is being migrated to React Native. This transition aims to provide a more powerful and flexible mobile experience for users. The mobile application upgrade is still in progress, with more features and improvements on the horizon. Our Software Development team is working on exciting new functionalities that will enhance the overall mobile experience.
