AKYPA November Monthly Social?
On Wednesday 29 November, AKYPA hosted our Monthly Social at the Emerald Peacock where members and non-members gathered to connect and share their professional interests in the Australia-Korea space.
We were privileged to have Mr Rowan Petz, the Executive Director of the Australian Chamber of Commerce Korea (Austcham Korea) attend our monthly social as he is currently here in Melbourne.
Kate Kim, AKYPA's Director of Partnerships had some robust conversations with Mr Petz as Austcham Korea looks for potential collaboration with AKYPA to help build and promote the commercial interest of the bilateral relationship with young professionals in the corridor.
We like to thank members and non-members who attended our networking event.
Asia Society Australia Melbourne Asia Game Changer Awards 2023
On Friday 01 December 2023, AKYPA was invited to attend the?Melbourne Asia Game Changer (MAGC) Awards hosted by Asia Society Australia. This event was a gala dinner celebrating individuals making extraordinary contributions to Asia-Australia relations in 2023.
The event was attended by Betty Choi, our General Committee member representing AKYPA at the event and learned about what other similar young professional associations are doing.
This insight was valuable and hopefully, some of the knowledge gained through this event can be used to help provide value to our members in 2024.
We want to thank the Asia Society Australia for inviting AKYPA and for Betty Choi for being a great representative for your members at the event.
