Australia Korea Young Professionals Association - AKYPA
Connecting Future Leaders. Creating Opportunities.
Message from AKYPA President, Mr Daniel Ha
What an incredible start to 2023 for AKYPA! Earlier this year, we successfully delivered the 2023 Leadership Forum in Sydney and Melbourne.
The Forum was our largest to date with deep engagement from fantastic organisations including Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade , Global Victoria , CJ Foods and GS E&C . Off the back of this success, we're absolutely thrilled to welcome a wave of new members. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our amazing Committee, AKYPA has seen incredible growth, more than doubling its membership in the past six months.
Our mission at AKYPA is all about empowering young professionals to actively engage in the Australia-Korea bilateral relationship. To keep everyone in the loop, we're launching our Monthly Newsletter packed with upcoming opportunities and past event highlights. We're always on the lookout for great ideas, so please reach out if you’ve got an idea that you’d like to share with us.
Together, let’s continue building our vibrant community of Australia-Korea engaged young professionals!

Based on an initiative started in June 2023, July 26th, 2023 was the second of AKYPA's Monthly Social Night.
This event was held at The Emerald Peacock, and built on the momentum of the previous month's event boasting 30-40 young professionals at the event.
This was a great night where AKYPA members and non-members were able to meet and network in a casual environment.?
As you can see from the smiles on people's faces that it was an enjoyable night and we plan to continue to hold the event again the last week of August 2023.??
