The Akimbo Wins 2023 Good Design Award

City of Industry, CA – 12.21.23 – Maxim Lighting is thrilled to announce the Akimbo has been honored with a 2023 Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.

A transitional statement piece, the Akimbo collection is composed of walnut-stained oak and Satin White glass shades that give off a pleasing, glare-free ambience. The collection is available as a series of multi-light chandeliers and a wall sconce with a swingable arm. Creating a collection that balances attractive aesthetics with functionality is no small feat, and to be recognized by the Good Design Awards for such an achievement is a true honor.
