AJC’s operations team is both the initiator and the first responder for all cargo, domestic and international. Known as the “customer service” of the business, they value vendors, suppliers, and customers’ satisfaction above all else. This means ensuring complete documentation accuracy while continuously improving logistics effectiveness.

Whether developing new systems within IT or determining solutions to ever-changing global barriers, AJC’s operations team strives to always be ahead of the curve. Policy changes and shifting economics continue to create barriers to importation, but their strength lies in their ability to improve efficiency in the supply chain through innovative solutions and technology. 

Bruna Ferreira, our Global Operations Manager, leads this talented multicultural team located in offices around the world. She strives not only to lead by example but to develop peers into strong leaders themselves. Bruna began at AJC as a documentation specialist 16 years ago, rising through the ranks with sheer determination, intelligence, and ability to understand the business and people. 

Bruna personally attributes her success to AJC’s no-door policy, which encourages frequent communication and collaboration in the office. She has felt fellow management and employees have always been approachable and willing to help. Therefore, as a leader, she has made it a priority to “manage from an HR perspective to maintain AJC’s family-like environment.” Bruna believes that regardless of challenges in the global market, her team will remain focused on providing the best service in the industry.
