AjaxTOCCO Magnethermic is Heating Up API OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) with four NEW Heat Treat, Quench and Temper projects in the USA and China.
AjaxTOCCO Magnethermic was awarded two 15 ton an hour, one 34 ton an hour, and a one coiled tubing heat-treating line for API tubular goods in 2019. Three of these systems are in production while the fourth is in the startup mode; the 4th system is scheduled for installation by the end of the year 2020 and is currently received in the Houston Texas region. AjaxTOCCO and our global brands have for over 100-years supplied API grade heat-treat, quench, and temper lines from 5 - 42 tons an hour production requirements. In recent years, we have pioneered and added the heat-treating of continuous coiled tubing to our product offering. AjaxTOCCO heat-treating lines are utilized to manufacture API grade tube and pipe for the oil and gas industry. To reduce our cost while maintaining technical superiority on these lines, AjaxTOCCO introduced a new line design in recent years. Our current level of projects is a direct result of this new line design technological advancements at a very competitive price. Our engineering staff's challenge was to maintain the robustness that AjaxTOCCO is known for and relied upon by our long-term customers. Our NEW design is offered from 4 - 36 tons per hour for cut length ERW and Seamless tubular goods as well as continuous coiled tubing.
