In the recent inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, the Indian government has collaborated with Gurgaon-based Artificial Intelligence startup, Staqu Technologies . They introduced cutting-edge AI-powered audio-video analytics software, Jarvis ,to ensure exemplary security in the sacred pilgrim city.

The existing cameras across the city were updated with Jarvis software to identify suspicious activities and potential threats thereby alerting authorities for swift response. These cameras were installed at key locations in Ayodhya such as Kanak Bhawan, Hanuman Garhi, Shri Nageshwar Nath Mandir, Ram Ki Paidi, and Ram Janmabhoomi. Apart from this, Jarvis has a comprehensive record of 8,00,000 criminals with a claim of 99.7% accuracy in face recognition which can identify persons of interest in real-time.

Furthermore, Jarvis incorporated advanced Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) capabilities linked to the government's vehicle registration database enables real-time identification of vehicles with fake number plates, reinforcing security measures in the holy city. In a parallel effort, the UP Police has deployed anti-mine drones equipped with AI and advanced sensors to scan the ground for hidden landmines or explosive devices. These drones, with spectrometer wavelength detection, play a crucial role in detecting and neutralizing potential threats in large areas, ensuring the safety of millions of expected devotees.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) maintained telecommunication infrastructure by? guaranteeing uninterrupted connectivity during the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. This telecom initiative employs a mix of 2G, 4G, and 5G networks, utilizing AI and Machine Learning algorithms for dynamic adjustments to network traffic based on real-time crowd movements. They made a dedicated 'war room' in Ayodhya to monitor telecom activities, ensuring not only connectivity but also providing valuable insights for law enforcement and crowd management.

Hence, in witnessing the ceremony, AI played a significant role in ensuring the safety of devotees using computer vision techniques like real time face recognition, number-plate recognition and number-plate recognition. Also a blend of IOT and AI based application is evident in deployment of anti-mine drones. This real time application of AI demonstrates its potential and power to revolutionize security measures, marking a pivotal step towards integrating cutting-edge technology for the safeguarding of large-scale events and public gatherings.
