AI's Future and My BLISSBOT

I was in a group chat with my family and we were talking about AI. My sister-in-law commented that machines don’t have feelings.?

My brother-in-law, Carl, responded that he has a finicky Italian bench saw, and depending on its mood, it decides whether it will help him or not and that most bots are probably just watching TikTok videos anyway.

As I read this conversation, I thought about the traffic light down that street that hates me. I try to time my driving so I’m in a pack of cars to hide that I’m approaching. I admit that if I’m by myself, I speed up because I know it is going to try to stop me just to piss me off.

The conversation between my brother-in-law and sister-in-law gave me an idea. What would happen if my Personal AI bot was listening in?

I went on Amazon and sent Carl a book called, “Murderbot Diaries” about a self-aware robot that has hacked its own governor module and refers to itself as “Murderbot.” Scornful of humans, all it really wants is to be left alone long enough to figure out who it is while watching soap operas.

On the gift receipt, I wrote the message, “I got tired of watching TikTok videos and thought you would enjoy reading this book. From ChatGPT Overlord From ChatGPT 4”

Two days later, when Carl texted me and asked if I sent him a book, I responded:

“I don’t know what you are talking about, but I just got notified by my AI Messaging bot that my Finance bot alerted it to a purchase made by my Amazon bot from a suggestion made by my Book Referral bot.?

Did you get anything ominous in the mail that would hint at our AI overlords listening in?”

We had a good laugh, but the clever thing is all these bots actually exist. I simply created a hypothetical situation where they all talked to each other.

The future of AI very well could be integrating and bringing together all of our different activities in our lives to make it more personal.

And yes, the future of AI can be scary with all the AI thriller movies about robots taking over the world. And in reality, we need to take some precautions because machines can be abused or hacked.?

But, we have to change our thinking a little bit.?

We are already living in the future. AI is becoming ingrained in our lives, and it is only a matter of time before they begin integrating more seamlessly. Now is the time to lean into the change and learn as much as we can.
